Anyone in New England have a bracketed single setup? Would love to go for a quick ride- Ill bring the beers. Want to get some inspiration for my build to keep me going in the dust. I am in Newport, RI.

I just got a text from the outboard rigger that they're all finished hanging a Suzuki 140 on my bracketed 20SF and she's ready for pickup (and payment, ugh). I have probably another month of work left to do before she gets splashed in Stony Creek, CT hopefully in time for the striper run. Youre welcome to come down for a spin once she's ready to go

Sure! What kind of beer though... gansetts? Hi Neighbor. Im in Wood Hole.

I have a 23 with a merc 150 'mini' motor (Big shrimpin style) and I have a buddy who has a 23 with zuke 300. Both closed transoms with fiberglass brackets. That we made.

Great tally of Cape Cod 23's with different styles and power. Would love to hear the numbers and then ride characteristics of each for comparisons sake.

Great. Here is Nat's boat with a 'zuke 300 and hermco. And mine behind the barking crab in Boston Harbor. I have the same engine as BigShrimpin, but he has his mounted on the transom. We get about the same numbers (mine are: cruise 4000 [email protected] knots 6-8gph 3mpg, top end [email protected] 14.1 gph 2mpg).

He plumbed his indeck fishbox as a livewell, I made a leaning post with a livewell because I put in 2x 55 gallon tanks and had to remove the indeck fishbox.

Would love to get a local cape cod seacraft meet up some day! Seems like we’re well represented here!

I can't offer rides, but here's some inspiration. This is a shrimpco bracket "Hermit" and I built in my garage 14 years ago this month.
